News Around Portland : VERY SPECIAL M4 APPEARANCE SATURDAY!!
Posted by keepportlandweird on Friday August 8 2008, 11:39 (112 reads)

MarchFourth is headlining Saturday night August 9 at the Bite of Oregon, held near the Morrison Bridge on the Waterfront. M4 plays at 9:30pm. Adult admission is $7, and kids 12 & under are free. We are reaching out to all our die-hard supporters to don their freaky best and come get funky! We've put together a great set, and will be debuting a couple of new tunes as well!!

This year's Bite of Oregon focuses on local talent and we are honored to have been invited to be the headliner for Saturday night.

This is a special show for us for a few reasons. For one, we will be featuring a rare FIRE PERFORMANCE as part of our set. Secondly, we will be videotaping the show as part of our DVD-in-progress. BE IN OUR
VIDEO. Thirdly, there will be some important out-of-town folks coming to see us for the first time and we want to give them the full Portland experience.

If you are only planning on seeing M4 once this summer, then we highly suggest you come to the Bite. It will be a rare showcase for the band, and we'd like you to join us.

Thanks!
MarchFourth

News Around Portland : Cute Little Redhead Girls and Hot Guys in Kilts
Posted by keepportlandweird on Wednesday July 16 2008, 12:10 (159 reads)

Many of you might have seen my plea for people to help out at the Portland
Highland Games, several of you were gracious enough to volunteer (THANK
YOU I LOVE YOU).

The Games are Saturday & I still need a few more people. If you have any
friends that have said "oh I would love to see cute little redhead girls
dance and hot men in kilts toss the caber & I love the sound of
Bagpipes"....send them my way!

I'm still in need of some admissions volunteers.

This is the bare minimum:
1 person from 10-noon
2 people from noon-3pm
2 people from 1-4pm

I could use
3 people from 10-noon
2 people from 9-noon
2 people from noon-3pm
3 people from 1-4pm

Thanks so much for listening

News Around Portland : Unveiling a new poll showing that local voters want to stop wasting billions in Iraq!
Posted by keepportlandweird on Wednesday April 23 2008, 21:53 (170 reads)

On Thursday, we're making major news at events in Portland and around the country. We're unveiling a new poll showing that local voters want to stop wasting billions in Iraq, and want to help the economy by investing those resources here at home.

In Portland, we can make an even bigger splash if there's a crowd at the press conference—ten or twelve folks to show that voters in your community care about this issue.

This event is short—likely less than 45 minutes—and all you have to do is be there. Can you come?
